Serve warm bread at the table
Serving bread with this warmer
Bring dinner rolls, biscuits or tortillas to the table in this round bread warmer. The heated terracotta stone releases stored warmth beneath the bread, helping keep it warm while you serve and share.
Handmade in Bangladesh, this SERRV International bread warmer pairs a handwoven kaisa grass basket with a removable terracotta warming stone. The Macha nautical design is incised into the whitewashed terracotta stone, adding a decorative detail beneath the bread. The fitted woven lid helps hold warmth between servings, making this version useful for family dinners, holiday meals and entertaining.
How to use
- Before first use, rinse the terracotta stone and dry it thoroughly.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and heat only the stone for 10 minutes.
- Using oven mitts, carefully place the heated stone in the basket. Lay a cloth napkin or towel over the stone and add warm bread.
- Fold the cloth over the bread to help retain warmth. Replace the woven lid between servings.
Heat only the terracotta stone. Keep the basket, woven lid and cloth out of the oven.
Care
To clean the stone, rinse with water and dry well. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
